Proper installation and inspection of tie-downs to exacting Florida, County, and Local requirements is essential to protecting your property and family from high winds.
There are two types of tie-downs
Over-the-top tie-downs: are straps that are placed over the siding and roof. Some manufactured homes come equipped with hidden over-the-top tie-downs that are located just under the exterior siding and metal roof.
Frame anchors: These anchor straps attach to the home’s frame rails. Many newer manufactured homes may be secured solely with frame anchors.
